Almost all of the files Duplicate Cleaner Pro highlighted were unnecessary duplicates. Once it finished, it gave us a lengthy list of potential duplicates.
It took the program about four minutes to browse through our computer during testing. It also lets you locate similar images (rotated, resized, etc.) and compare your audio files by tags. It can scan multiple folders, ZIP archives, or even your entire computer at once, and it does it relatively quickly. This application searches through any folder you choose to find duplicate files that are taking up space. Still, if you can get by on deleting a small number of files at a time, or don't mind paying for quality, this app is worth exploring.
The program drastically limits what you can do if you don't buy the full version. Duplicate Cleaner Pro does a bang-up job of finding duplicates, but deleting them isn't easy if you don't pay up.
